PFP Network — Terms of Service
1. What PFP Network is
PFP Network is the free side of Project Factory Pro. It is where the people and companies a workspace works with receive and answer work: freelancers, suppliers, employees, and later clients and agencies.
Through PFP Network a company can send you an availability check (a "pencil"), a rate offer, a request for your quote, a booking, a day sheet, a document request, or an invoice step, and you can answer from your phone. Everything you and the company agree is recorded once, for both of you.
PFP Network is software. It is not:
- your employer, your agent, or a party to any booking, quote or contract between you and a company;
- a job board or a marketplace. Companies reach you because they invited you or because you joined their network;
- a bank or payment service. Invoices and payment status are recorded here. No money moves through PFP.
2. Your account
How you get one. A company invites you by email or shares its personal company link or QR code with you. You answer a short interview about what you do and, if the company accepts you into its network, you set your own password. There is no open public signup today.
One account, many companies. Your PFP Network account is yours, not any company's. You can be connected to more than one company with the same account. A company cannot add you to its network without your signed-in agreement.
Who you are. You must be at least 18. You must use your own name and a real email you control. If you are answering for a company (as a supplier's representative), you confirm you have the authority to do so.
Keeping it safe. Keep your password private. Nobody at PFP knows it; sign-in is held by AWS Cognito. Tell us at once if you think someone else has used your account.
Free. PFP Network is free for participants. We do not charge you, we do not run third-party advertising inside it, and we never will. The only promotion you will see is our own invitation to run your company on PFP OS.
3. Working with companies through PFP Network
What a company sees. A company sees what you send it: your interview answers, your availability answers, your rate, your quote, your documents, your invoice. It also keeps its own private notes and records about working with you. Those are the company's records, and you do not see them.
What other companies see. Nothing. Each company on PFP is a sealed workspace. Your rates with one company, your notes in their Blackbook, your bookings and your history with them are never shown to another company. There is no cross-company profile of you.
What you see. Your own work: the asks sent to you, what you answered, your bookings, your day sheets, your documents, and the money facts of your own jobs (offered rate, agreed rate, purchase order, invoice status). Employees of a company see their schedule and tasks and no money.
An answer is a real answer. When you say you are available, accept a rate, send a quote, sign a day sheet or acknowledge a document, the company will rely on it. Answer only for yourself or for the company you are authorised to represent.
A yes to a pencil is not a booking. Availability, an agreed rate and a booking are three separate things. The screen tells you which one you are answering. You are booked only when the company books you and the record says so.
The deal is between you and the company. Rates, terms, payment, insurance, and the law that applies to your work are between you and the company. PFP records what you both agree; it does not set or guarantee it.
4. Yellow Pages
Yellow Pages is an optional listing so that companies on PFP can find you. Today it is a holding listing: you can opt in and give us your listing details, and we hold them until the directory reader is built. Your listing is never public on the open web; when the reader exists, only paying PFP OS subscribers will be able to browse it. You can withdraw your listing at any time from your profile or by writing to us.
5. Your content
You own what you put in. Your profile, your documents, your quotes and your answers are yours.
Our licence. You give us a limited licence to store, process and deliver your content to the companies you send it to, and to keep the shared record of what you and they agreed. That is all we use it for.
Your document wallet. Documents you hold in PFP Network (ID, certificates, insurance, portfolio) are yours. A company sees a document only when you send it, or answer a request for it. Sending a document to one company does not show it to another.
No training. We do not use your content to train AI models.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to: use someone else's identity or answer for a company you do not represent; try to reach another person's or company's data; probe or test the platform's security; upload malware or unlawful content; use PFP Network to spam or harass anyone; or use it for anything unlawful where you are or where we are.
We can suspend an account while we investigate a serious breach. We will tell you why unless the law prevents it.
7. Leaving, and what stays
Leaving a company's network. You can ask a company to remove you from its network, or we can do it for you. The company keeps its own records of the work you did together, as any business would. It stops being able to send you new work.
Closing your account. Write to info@projectfactorypro.com from your account email. We close the account and delete your profile and wallet, keeping only what the law or a live dispute requires. Records of completed work that live inside a company's workspace (their quote, their booking, their invoice from you) are that company's records and stay with them.
If you become a company. If you later run your own company on PFP OS, you can do it with the same account. Your identity and the things you own move with you. Companies' private records about you do not.
8. Beta
PFP Network is offered as a beta. Features can change, and we do not promise uninterrupted availability. We take backups, but during the beta we do not promise that data will never be lost. Keep copies of documents you cannot afford to lose.
9. Security
Sign-in is delegated to AWS Cognito; our database stores no passwords. Sessions are server-signed with instant revocation. Every link a company sends you to answer something is a single-purpose signed link: one link, one action, and it expires. Every workspace is sealed by row-level security in the database. Bank details you give a company are stored in a never-share class. We do not claim certifications we do not hold.
10. Our intellectual property
The software and the PFP, PFP Network and Project Factory Pro names and marks belong to Project Industry. You get a free right to use PFP Network under these Terms. Feedback you send us may be used without obligation.
11. What we promise, and what we do not
PFP Network is provided "as is" during the beta. To the extent the law allows, we give no warranty of fitness for a particular purpose, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including a job you did not get, a rate you did not agree, or a payment a company did not make. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
12. Changes
For a material change we email you and show a notice in PFP Network at least 30 days before it applies. If you keep using PFP Network after that date, the new version applies.
